I bring a holistic approach to therapy. My practice integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a humanistic approach. I’m dedicated to creating a supportive space where you can navigate your therapeutic journey with empathy and empowerment. Having dedicated the majority of my career to fostering well-being at Kaiser Permanente, I bring a wealth of experience and empathy to my therapeutic practice. I am uniquely positioned to guide individuals on their journey toward holistic healing, drawing on my professional background to offer compassionate and effective therapy services for those seeking emotional wellness. My extensive experience of over 7 years in treating individuals and couples allows me to bring a deep understanding of diverse backgrounds and relationship dynamics.

EDUCATION

I received a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, where I earned my supervisory hours, building experience in diverse clinical settings, including community mental health and hospitals.

I received Gottman training certification and I am certified as a domestic violence counselor.

Personal Insights

My experience as an avid martial artist and Muay Thai coach, along with being a devoted husband and father, enhances my abilities as a therapist. These diverse roles deepen my empathy, allowing me to connect more profoundly with clients, and the collaborative skills honed in coaching contribute to creating effective therapeutic relationships.
